HELP TACAA LOCATE MEAT PROCESSORS
Do you use a meat processor who is not on the list of participating meat processors?  Help spread the word.  Let your processor know about the program and have them call (800) 992-9767 ext. 506 to get on board with the Hunters for the Hungry program.



COMMUNITY PROJECTS
Many areas of Texas are overrun with deer.  Some local governments or community groups have gotten involved to cover the cost of processing for deer harvested from a particular community.  On these projects, TACAA generates agreements between TACAA, a meat processor, the local governmental entity or community group, and one or more food assistance provider.  To start a project, talk to Hunters for the Hungry staff by calling (800) 992-9767 ext. 506.
