FOOD ASSISTANCE PROVIDERS

A statewide Food Assistance Provider database was created in 1994. It is maintained and routinely updated. TACAA utilizes the database to place donations received through the Hunters for the Hungry program, as well as to make referrals and keep abreast of hunger relief efforts in the state.

TACAA receives Community Services Block Grant funding through the Texas Department of Housing and Community Affairs to maintain the Food Assistance Providers database.
