Meet This Year’s Keynote Speaker

Lucy Di Rose is the Executive Director of the Sargent Shriver Peace Institute, where she works to carry forward Sargent Shriver’s legacy of service, leadership, and the fight to end poverty. With a background in communications and deep knowledge of Community Action history, Lucy brings Shriver’s work to life for today’s audiences.

She led the rediscovery and publication of Shriver’s previously unpublished memoir, We Called It a War: Lessons Learned from the Fight to End Poverty, and has helped develop and deliver conflict resolution trainings tailored specifically for Community Action agencies across the country.

TACAA Member Agencies are invited to recognize staff and team members who have dedicated their careers to Community Action. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors individuals whose long-standing service has strengthened families, communities, and our statewide network.
